Mission: High Tech High's Internship program aims to foster personal growth and help students acquire workplace skills in a real-world environment. The experience is invaluable for students as they prepare for life after high school and the program offers local organizations a well-supported intern. 

Program Requirements:

• All High Tech High juniors complete a 4-week internship (30-40 hours per week) with a local business or organization.

• All interns develop (a) substantial project(s) with the mentor that contributes to or benefits the organization.

• Internship is supplemented by an "Internship class" in the preceding months to prepare students for the experience and connect them with "best fit" mentors.

• Each student is supported by a workplace mentor.

• Mentors communicate regularly with HTH about student progress.

• Near the end of Internship, each intern presents their work and overall learning to a panel of mentors and other site employees.

• Completing Internship is a High Tech High graduation requirement
